Ripplewood Resort Cancellation and Booking Policies:

  • Ripplewood Resort does not accept reservations via email. Please utilize our online availability tool, and then call us directly at (831) 667-2242, or in the continental USA (800) 575-1735.

  • Ripplewood Resort has a two night minimum on weekends (Friday or Saturday arrival) and holidays. Occasionally we have single nights that become available on a weekend due to a gap between longer bookings, so it never hurts to call or look online and check for single night availability.

  • We realize that sometimes your plans may change. In order to be fair to other potential guests of Ripplewood Resort, and to avoid unnecessary charges, please cancel not less than 72 Hours prior to your scheduled arrival.

  • We will assess a 100% penalty of the nightly rate including tax, per room, for late cancellations within 72 hours of arrival. If we are able to reserve your cabin for someone else, we will issue a credit for this fee and you will not be penalized outside of our normal cancellation fee of $25. This does not happen very often so we recommend cancelling on time.

  • If you realize are going to miss your scheduled arrival please let us know!

  • For late arrivals, please come by the front desk in the morning to pay your balance and check-in.

  • There is a $25 cancellation fee for cancelling reservations.

  • There is a $25 administrative fee for changing your reservation more than once.

  • If you are staying in a kitchen unit, the housekeeping staff appreciates your cleaning any used dishes. If you find yourself unable to do them, this service is provided for a $25 fee payable at the general store.

  • No-show reservations will forfeit the deposit taken at the time of booking, and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled at 11:00 am the following day.

  • Abbreviated reservations may be charged a $100 early departure fee.

  • We require a pre-payment of the first night at the time of booking, and we will charge the balance of your stay upon your arrival.

  • We accept payment via Visa or MasterCard. Please bring your Credit Card, and identification or driver's license with you when you check in. All reservations must have a credit card on file

  • Check-in time is at 3:30 pm, check-out time is at 11:00 am.

  • Quiet time is from 9:30 pm to 9:00 am. Please contact the owner for after hours noise issues. The phone number is listed in the guest handbook located in each cabin.

  • All of our cabins are non-smoking.

  • Service animals are allowed as defined under ADA regulations.

  • We do not allow pets at Ripplewood. This includes companion pets, which are not recognized under ADA regulations. Service dogs are allowed.

  • Therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and companion dogs are not service dogs under the ADA regulations and are not allowed. - See more at:

  • Ripplewood Resort is not responsible for road conditions, foul weather or personal emergencies.

  • We strongly encourage you to check weather forecasts and road conditions prior to travelling during the winter months, as Highway 1 can be hazardous during inclement weather.

  • Please be sure to review your confirmation letter carefully for accuracy at time of booking and contact us immediately if there is a discrepancy, or if you have any questions about our policies.
